Sixteen young adults in San Antonio who have aged out of foster care are now living in thoughtfully-designed new apartments, thanks to the efforts of Room Redux, Roy Maas Youth Alternatives (RMYA) and other volunteers.
RMYA bought and funded the preparation of the eight apartments for these individuals. The nonprofit’s TurningPoint transitional living program helps young adults who have aged out of foster care, are currently in extended foster care or are experiencing homelessness.
